This course is designed to provide participants with a range of ideas that can form the basis of effective teaching and learning in A level Mathematics. It can be attended on its own or along with Features of Great A Level Teaching - Year 13 at Loughborough University on Tuesday 5th July 2022.
Aims
- To exemplify features of effective A level Mathematics teaching and learning (using content mainly from the topics of differentiation and logarithms) with teaching ideas and ready-to-use resources.
- To give teachers first-hand experience of a lesson in which these features are applied.
- To promote discussion about features of effective mathematics teaching and learning and how to embed these in lessons.

All teachers who are familiar with the content of the first year of the A level course
