The Essex Mathematics Teacher Network is an AMSP-funded project allowing teachers of maths to meet, collaborate and to share professional development. We meet three times per year and the programme is a mixture of informal sessions and speaker-led training events.

Agenda

  • November 2021 Exams
  • Summer 2022 exams - preparing the students
  • Curriculum sequencing, possible sharing of curriculum maps
  • Planning for teaching A level maths and further maths in parallel
  • Possible local Year 12 Inter-school competition in the Summer
  • Resources

Content

We are hoping to meet face to face and share our experiences of the last couple of years, to compare the different approaches we have taken, and what positive changes we are adopting for the future. We will also share our online resources, ideas and techniques for online student work and textbooks we have being using for KS5. There will also be the opportunity to exchange views on developments in schools this term.

Please feel free to request any additional agenda items you would like to discuss.

If necessary the event will be moved online.
