Planning with intentOnline
'We teach students maths that helps them do stuff'. - Charlie Stripp
We will be looking at what it means to plan with intent when planning to teach a topic, a lesson, or even the whole curriculum by considering how to start, why, what to move onto next and what do we do with our disadvantaged students. We will also look at developing a script of our intentions robustly to withstand scrutiny.
We will look at developing a plan by considering the maths that is needed to be able to solve a particular problem.
There will be a chance to share expertise and experience.
- To develop understanding of how to plan a curriculum with intent
Who will benefit from attending?
