Northants & Rutland Teacher Network

Enrichment ideas

Overview

The Northants and Rutland Network is an AMSP funded project, allowing teachers of KS4 and KS5 Mathematics to meet, collaborate and to share best practice. We meet 4 times a year to discuss issues related to A level Maths and Further Maths, Core Maths and GCSE Maths. The focus of each meeting is decided by the demand from teachers that attend. Depending upon the interests and needs of the teachers involved we may invite speakers to present.

Agenda

  • What do we mean when we talk about enrichment?
  • How can we find the time?
  • What is available?

Content

In this meeting we will discuss the various types of enrichment that we offer, look at some ideas to broaden this and consider ways of making these events and activities work in the current environment.

Materials and Equipment

A good internet connection and a microphone are all that are needed to participate.
