The AMSP presents a day of problem-solving activities, focusing on post-16 mathematics, for maths ITT students at the University of Cumbria.

Aims

  • Develop and enhance participants' understanding of problem-solving;
  • Introduce MAT, TMUA and STEP and explore some problems seen in those papers;
  • Give teachers the opportunity to work on some complex problems;
  • Provide suggestions for suitable teaching resources.
