Overview

The Northumberland Maths Grid Teacher Network is an AMSP-funded project, allowing teachers of KS3, KS4 and KS5 maths to meet, collaborate and  share best practice. We meet termly and the programme is mainly speaker-led training events and may include informal sessions

Content

We are arranging a Northumberland Maths Grid Teacher Network meeting on the afternoon of the 12th November to be held at Bede Academy. Refreshments will be available. Our current draft agenda is as follows:

Network Meeting 12thNovember (1p.m. – 3:15p.m.):

(Arrivals from 12:15 for lunch) 

Draft Agenda

  • A Maths Problem Resource: Warm up
  • Careers and Gatsby Benchmarks
  • Stem – seeking and gaining assistance
  • Guest Speaker: Louise Maule (Maths4Girls)
  • A review of Integral Resources

Charged laptops will be required to get the most from the session.

 

We would love to see you there but if you would like to join us remotely please let us know and we will attempt to arrange a ‘hybrid’ meeting with both face to face and online participants.
