All About the University Admissions TestsBirmingham
Over the last few years there have been changes to the University Admissions Tests, and an increase in problem solving and reasoning in the A level specifications. This session looks at the similarities and differences between the tests, and how they are relevant for more than your highest fliers.
There will be a focus on exploring problems from the tests and discussing ways to use the materials in lessons.
Participants will leave with a collection of materials, links to relevant resources and with the buzz of thinking in new ways about AS level maths.
- To explore ways to develop problem solving and reasoning in the classroom
- To be familiar with the three admissions tests
Who will benefit from attending?
