Materials and Equipment
Students should be prepared to solve maths problems and so will need pens, pencils and paper. No calculators required!
We are planning to use Itempool in order that students can engage anonymously with questions in the session on Thinking about University. A smartphone is ideal for this but if you don't have one it is not a barrier to benefitting from the session.
The event will comprise three presentations, with activities for students to do with their teachers. There will be a Q&A function to allow students and teachers to ask questions, which may then be referenced by the presenters.
The event be delivered using a Zoom webinar. Teachers should sign up to the event on behalf of their students. Teachers can then show the event live in school or share the webinar link with their students as required. Zoom details will be sent to registered teachers closer to the event.
