Maths Across the Curriculum at Key Stage 5
Overview
The Kent and Medway Teacher Network is a composite of the 3 teacher networks which normally run in our region and which are expected to return in September 2021. Because it runs in an online classroom, it negates the gegraphical challenges that we would normally encounter with network meetings and allows itself to be opened up to the whole region. It is an AMSP funded project, allowing teachers of maths to meet, collaborate and to share best practice during this period when our schools are closed to visitors.
In this meeting we will explore the maths requirements of other level 3 subjects and consider how our teaching of level 3 Core Mathematics can have a positive impact on student progress and attainment across the curriculum.
The workshop will be delivered by Tom Rainbow who is the AMSP Core Maths Professional Development Lead.
