Quantitative Skills - Maths for Other Subjects (Spearman's Rank Correlation)

Overview

We are aware of the increasing mathematical knowledge needed by our colleagues who are delivering A Level courses including Pschology, Geography and Biology. This course, which will be delivered by Stella Dudzic, is aimed at non-mathematical specialists to help them prepare to teach the quantitative component of their courses.

Who will benefit from attending?

All non-maths specialists who are teaching the quantitative component of A Level courses including Psychology, Geography and Biology. No prior knowledge will be expected.

Content

This session will look at teaching approaches to introduce students to Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient and how to analyse the results found.

Eligibility

All teachers of the quantitative methods used in Psychology, Geography and Biology and any other relevant subject.
