Building Resilience in Maths (inc. Online Lessons)
Overview
How can you help build resilience in your maths students?
This session will be lead by Adrian Hall, who works for the AMSP in the North West, and will look at which pedagogical approaches help to build resilience and independence when tackling mathematical problems. We will also look at what language and behaviours help pupils to achieve this.
UPDATED FOR LOCKDOWN - we'll also take a look at strategies for improving engagement in your live online lessons, and how to create a safe online environment for pupils to make mistakes.
Aims
