Maths Inspiration Virtual Show - What's the point of... quadratic equations?

Online

Overview

Discover the surprising ways in which quadratic equations crop up in the real world, from falling objects to probability.

Hosted by Matt Parker, with guest slots from at least three presenters*, each with their own distinct look at quadratics or parabolas.

There will be brief pre-show shout-outs, the show itself will begin at about 2:05pm.

We encourage you to watch live because of the interactive element, but a recording will be available afterwards for one month.  The show can be watched at home or in school.

If you wish to book both shows in the "What's the Point Of..." series (Quadratic Equations and Trigonometry), a two show pass is available for £50 + VAT. Click here for further information.

* speakers likely to include three of Aoife Hunt, Rob Eastaway, Susan Okereke, Hugh Hunt. TBC soon!
