Nottingham and Derby Online Network Meeting

Why Study Maths? How to encourage students to continue their study of Mathematics beyond GCSE

Overview

This will be the first meeting of the academic year. As we get used to having all our students back into school, those in year 11 will also be looking at their options for future study. We will look at ways to encourage them to see how important the study of maths is, even when it is not compulsory. We will look at the options available to them and how we can help them to decide which is the best path for them.

We will also discuss how the term is going after the interruption last year. If you have any tips or hints to help others, please bring them along. It would be nice to take this opportunity to share experiences.
