The importance of mathematical modelling
OnlineOverview
Please note that due to the MEI Conference running on Thursday and Friday of this week, this session is running on a Wednesday and is a morning session (starting at 11am).
It's rarely been more obvious than in the midst of a global pandemic that mathematical modelling is important for humans to understand and predict the world around us. We discuss ideas surrounding modelling in applied and pure maths, and how to incorporate them into maths teaching at any level.
This webinar is one of an extensive series, taking place as part of our Core Maths Online Festival. The sessions are designed to appeal to all teachers of maths and, in some cases, teachers of other subjects. Each webinar is designed to stand alone and will last approximately 90 minutes.
Who will benefit from attending?
