Frequently Asked Questions
We suggest students who are yet undecided on whether they want to continue their mathematics education may be the best audience. Particularly students who are thinking of taking non-mathematics courses in higher education or pursuing a career that does not directly involve a large amount of maths. Any students who are thinking of taking Psychology (and other Social Science qualifications), Business, Sports Science, Construction, Nursing (and other Biology related courses), Management etc. will need a higher level of mathematics than just GCSE. Core Maths is a perfect qualification for them.
We have capped numbers at 15 to begin with in line with demand from previous years. If we have spare spaces available then you will be notified after May half term.
We suggest that you should bring students who are aiming for at least a Level 6/7 at GCSE Mathematics.
