Canterbury Teacher Network

Problem Solving across the Curriculum

Overview

Canterbury Teacher Network is an AMSP-funded project allowing teachers of maths to meet, to collaborate and to engage in professional development. We meet each term with a mixture of informal sessions and speaker-led training events. All teachers of level 3 mathematics are welcome to attend.

Content

Quantitative skills are taught and examined in many subjects at A level, particularly Biology, Geography and Psychology. This network session will look at how quantitative skills are assessed in other A level subjects and will enable us to consider how our teaching of these topics could support the learning of students across the curriculum.
