Using graphical calculators in exams


The Central Hertfordshire Mathematics Teacher Networks is an AMSP-funded project allowing teachers of maths to meet, to collaborate and to share professional development. We meet termly and the programme is a mixture of interactive discussion and speaker-led training events.

Gerard Dummett from Casio will lead this session.

Setting up exam mode, using memories/variables, using calculators on example exam questions, working with probability, graphs with tangents and normals.

The session will be a mix of instruction and interactive surgery.

Materials and Equipment

Please bring examples of exam questions for which calculators might be used.

Calculators will be available for use.
