Overview

Maths Picnic is a fun educational challenge for Year 9 students which tests problem-solving and teamwork skills. Teams of three students will test their maths skills with our all-you-can-eat picnic of problems!

Who will benefit from attending?

Maths Picnic is open to all Year 8 and 9 students who want to improve their mathematical and teamwork skills.

Materials and Equipment

Calculators and equipment such as rulers and protractors are not permitted - this competition is based on your brain power alone!

Students will have to bring a pen/pencil.

Other Information

Year 8 and 9 students only, organised into teams of three. Each pair of teams must be accompanied by a teacher or teaching assistant or one responsible adult per two teams, this could be a sixth former so long as there is a teacher present amongst your school party.
