Martin Bamber (AC AMSP) and Abigail Bown (AC AMSP) will lead a professional development day on problem solving. The content will be accessible for teachers of Higher GCSE and A Level. 

Aims

  • To consider approaches to problem-solving in Higher GCSE, A-Level Mathematics and beyond
  • To assist teachers in incorporating more problem-solving activities in their teaching
  • To allow teachers time to work on problem solving activities and to discuss strategies
  • To assist teachers to research the outcomes of problem-solving activities with students
  • To find out more about University entrance exams involving mathematics

This course is suitable for any teachers of Higher GCSE, A Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics
