Teaching First Year A Level Mathematics

Manchester

Overview

This two-day course is ideal for any teachers who are planning to teach the first year Mathematics for the first time, or who have recently started teaching this course. We have assumed that teachers will be able to try out some resources with first year A Level students between the two dates of the course. It may also appeal to more experienced teachers who wish to discover and trial new resources and approaches. A particular feature of this course is the special emphasis on the development of the overarching themes of problem solving and technology.
