A-level Mathematics Teacher Day



Bring your department to discuss and network with other A-level mathematics teachers.

The day has a focus on recent educational research, with a particular emphasis on developing your mathematics teaching and pedagogy.

This is an oportunity to meet with other A-level maths teachers and discuss common themes to help you run your department more effectively.

This is an oportunity to develop your teaching practice, the techniques can be applied at all levels.

Suitable for teachers of A-level maths at any level of experience


Emma McCrea is a senior lecturer at University of Brighton, specialising in the design and delivery of evidence-informed teacher training for both trainee and experienced teachers. The author of "Making Every Maths Lesson Count", she has lead professional development training for organisations such as NCETM, MEI and the Maths Hubs. Drawing on her book Emma will talk about being evidence-informed and share evidence-informed practical teaching strategies.  Emma tweets  @MccreaEmma
