Overview

The North West Surrey Teacher Network is an AMSP-funded project, allowing teachers of Maths in the Chertsey and Woking area of Surrey to meet, collaborate and share best practice. Meetings will take place termly and the programme is planned by teacher request. The meetings will be a mixture of informal sessions and training events.

Content

Paul Glaister, from Reading University, presents a session on how the idea of proof can enrich teacher and student understanding. You will see a wide range of proofs havingthe chance to do lots of learning and enjoying mathematics on the way. This will be a lively and interactive session. It might even lead to better attainment in exams as well!
