The NW Online PD Pick 'n' Mix Network is a series of themed sessions to support Maths Teachers. It will be ideal for any teachers including those who have recently started teaching, or just someone who wants some new teaching ideas.
- the Pick 'n' Mix design allows teachers to dip into as many or as few sessions as they like
- there will be a strong emphasis throughout the sessions on pedagogy, problem-solving and technology
Content
In this session we'll be considering modelling in Pure Mathematics post 16. We'll be looking at ideas and resources to promote student understanding and the ability to deal with questions set in unfamiliar situations.
