Overview
Each Core Maths qualification features pre-release material which is available approximately 1-2 months prior to the first exam in May (this varies depending on the awarding organisation). Approximately one week after the pre-release material is available we will run discussion meetings for teachers to discuss the content, develop questions and share approaches to getting the most out of the material.
Who will benefit from attending?
All current or prospective teachers of a Core Maths qualification will find these discussion meetings useful. If you're not using a pre-release document this year but think you might in the future (or are just curious) please do feel free to attend.
Materials and equipment
If possible it would be easier for you if you could secure a microphone for the discussion meeting. If this is not possible to do, you will be able to communicate by using the chat box.
Other information
Teachers who sign up will be emailed in the days prior to the discussion meeting and again on the day of the discussion meeting with a link to the online meeting room.
Eligibility
All current and prospective teachers of Core Maths are eligible for this event. Priority will be given to teachers in state-funded schools and colleges in England. Students are not eligible to attend these events.Cost
