Our Subject Knowledge Live (SKL) programme returns this autumn with a series of free, high-quality, online professional development courses designed to support the teaching of Higher GCSE, Core Maths, A level Maths and Further Maths.

Overview

Starting in September, this season’s programme offers targeted support to help you deepen your subject knowledge, strengthen topic fluency, and build confidence in delivering effective, engaging lessons. Plus, our Key Stage 5 Coordinator Development course provides valuable leadership support for those heading up maths departments and driving positive change.

Whether you’re teaching Core Maths, GSCE, A level Mathematics or Further Mathematics, there’s a wide range of content available. This autumn, the series includes all the sessions from the summer programme, plus a new course: Topics and pedagogy for AQA level 2 Further Maths.

Each course is designed to:

  • Strengthen understanding of key concepts
  • Tackle common misconceptions
  • Encourage cross-topic fluency
  • Create interaction with peers across the country

All sessions are delivered live online by maths specialists, making it easy to fit professional development into your schedule, with access to resources and recordings throughout the year.
